ACTED is on a mission to find dedicated Project Coordinators who will play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing programs in some of the world's most challenging environments. With a monthly salary ranging from €2,800 to €3,100, this opportunity offers more than just a job—it's a chance to be part of a meaningful cause.

ACTED is a leading organization working across 43 countries, impacting over 19 million lives. They tackle humanitarian response, sustainable development, climate action, and environmental protection, all under one roof. By combining local insights with cutting-edge technologies, ACTED strives for a 3Zero World: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, and Zero Poverty.

But here's where you come in:

As a Project Coordinator, you'll be the linchpin between strategy and on-the-ground execution. Your mission? To ensure projects are implemented seamlessly, cost-effectively, and in line with ACTED's values and external regulations. This role demands a unique blend of leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills, especially in dynamic and often unpredictable settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain project quality, keeping an eye on donor and ACTED's own high standards.
  • Partner Management: Coordinate and oversee implementing partners, fostering strong external relationships.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance teams for financial tracking and budget management.
  • Logistical Support: Ensure logistical arrangements facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Compliance and Security: Integrate security considerations and maintain compliance with internal and donor regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with field teams, partners, and support departments to ensure efficient project delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Field Experience: A minimum of four years in programme or project management is essential.
  • Communication and Coordination: Excellent communication and coordination skills are a must.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage experienced teams effectively.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in high-pressure environments, adapting to changing security contexts.
  • Independence: Work independently and creatively, both in the field and in office settings.
  • Values Alignment: Strong commitment to ACTED's values and humanitarian principles.

Benefits and Conditions:

  • Salary: €2,800 - €3,100 monthly, adjusted for education, experience, and security context.
  • Living Allowance: USD 300 monthly for personal expenses.
  • Accommodation and Meals: Provided in ACTED guesthouses.
  • Insurance and Pension: Comprehensive coverage, including pension, health, life insurance, and unemployment insurance for EU citizens.
  • Travel and Visa: International flights every six months with full visa cost coverage.
  • Luggage Allowance: Up to 100 kg, depending on contract length.
  • Rest and Recuperation: R&R every three months, location-dependent.
  • Annual Leave: 25-43 days, tailored to contract terms.
  • Training: Pre-departure training, including security preparation.
  • Support Services: Tax advice and psychological support throughout your contract.
